The 7 Hardest Things

GOD Asks A WOMAN To Do

7-things72.jpg

by

Kathie Reimer & Lisa Whittle

The hardest things God asks a woman to do are hard for everyone, everywhere, everyday. But they are also the most rewarding and fulfilling.

The 7 Hardest Things God Asks a Woman to Do, by mother-daughter authors Kathie Reimer and Lisa Whittle, is an honest and insightful look into the liberating truth about what is required of women. By identifying the 7 things and dealing with them in a straightforward manner, women will come to to a better understanding of the freedom that comes with knowing what is required of us-and the empowerment of the Lord who guides, strengthens, and enables us to do what he asks.

When I Met You

by Barbie Almalbis

There I was an empty piece of a shell,
Just mindin my own world;
Without even knowin what love and life were all about.

Then you came,
You brought me out of the shell;
You gave the world to me
And before I knew,
There I was so in love with you.

You gave me a reason for my being
And I love what Im feelin
You gave me a meaning to my life,
Yes, Ive gone beyond existing
And it all began when I met you.

I love the touch of your hair
And when I look in your eyes
I just know, I know Im on to something good

And Im sure my love for you will endure
Your love will light up my world;
And take all my cares away with the aching part of me.

You gave me a reason for my being
And I love what Im feelin
You gave me a meaning to my life,
Yes, Ive gone beyond existing
And it all began when I met you.

You taught me how to love,
You showed me how tomorrow and today
My life is diffrent from the yesterday;
And you, you taught me how to love
And darling I will always cherish you
Today, tomorrow and forever.

And Im sure when evening comes around
I know well be making love like never before;
My love, who could ask for more?

You gave me a reason for my being
And I love what Im feelin
You gave me a meaning to my life,
Yes, Ive gone beyond existing
And it all began when I met you.
When I met you.

You gave me a reason for my being
And I love what Im feelin
You gave me a meaning to my life,
Yes, Ive gone beyond existing
And it all began when I met you.
When I met you.

Recall of Mother’s Day

Last May 13th was Mother’s day and i got the first greeting thru phonecall by one of my inaAkays… she ended her greeting with this SMS “I love you very much nay. With commitment! To the next level! “

~~~same here bituing marikit ni nanay…~~~
Another greeting came from my “panganay” in mentoring:
“Mamikay, thank you for embracing all the joys, pains, triumphs, and trials motherhood could ever offer. Thank you for offering your life that others might find theirs …thank you for being…simply and wonderfully A MOTHER..Luv ya :) Hapi Mother’s Day!”
~~~ thanks ga! Palangga ka ni mamikay!~~~

To my nanay who gave up so much for me… I am blessed to be your daughter.

Because you had been such a wonderful blessing to me, these had been my heart’s desire:

  1. I will be a blessing as a daughter to you
  2. I will be a blessing as a mother to my children in the faith
  3. I will be a blessing as a wife to my future husband
  4. I will be a blessing as a mother to my future children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren!
  5. I will be a blessing as an in-law to my future husband’s family
  6. I will be a blessing to my spheres of influence
  7. and that by being a blessing, my Father in heaven will be glorified. He’s been blessing me to be a channel of His blessings…

A Song for a Prayer

Be Thou my vision O Lord of my Heart
Naught Be all else to me save that thou art
Thou my best thought, by day or by night
waking or sleeping thy presence my light

Be thou my wisdom and thou my true Word
I ever with thee and thou with me Lord
Thou my great Father and I thy true son
Thou in dwelling and i with thee one

Riches I heed not nor man’s empty praise
Thou mine inheritance now and always
Thou and Thou only first in my heart
High king of heaven my threasure thou art

Be thou my vision O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me save that thou art
Thou my best thought, by day or by night
Waking or sleeping Thy presence my light

High king of heaven my victory won,
May I reach heaven’s joy, Bright heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall
Still be my vision O ruler of all

Still be my vision O ruler of all—-

Missing the Three Men in My Life

Tatay, lolo…hope to see you there WHEN I GET HOME..

Tatay (KC) looking forward for your homecoming….

My God is so Big!!!

It was such a beautiful morning after  the 1st rain  of  May .  And I can’t help singing  in my heart and mind this Sunday school song:

My God is so big,

So strong and so mighty,

There’s nothing my God cannot do.

[clap clap]

My God is so big,

So strong and so mighty,

There’s nothing my God cannot do.

[clap clap]

The mountains are His,

The valleys are His,

The stars are His handiwork too.

My God is so big,

So strong and so mighty,

There’s nothing my God cannot do.

[clap clap]

[Repeat, going faster and faster each time.]

Father’s Eyes

 FATHER’S EYES

by Amy Grant

I may not be every mother’s dream for her little girl,
And my face may not grace the mind of everyone in the world.
But that’s all right, as long as I can have one wish I pray:
When people look inside my life, I want to hear them say,
She’s got her father’s eyes,
Her father’s eyes;
Eyes that find the good in things,
When good is not around;
Eyes that find the source of help,
When help just can’t be found;
Eyes full of compassion,
Seeing every pain;
Knowing what you’re going through
And feeling it the same.
Just like my father’s eyes,
My father’s eyes,
My father’s eyes,
Just like my father’s eyes.
And on that day when we will pay for all the deeds we have done,
Good and bad they’ll all be had to see by everyone.
And when you’re called to stand and tell just what you saw in me,
More than anything I know, I want your words to be,
She had her father’s eyes,
Her father’s eyes;
Eyes that found the good in things,
When good was not around;
Eyes that found the source of help,
When help would not be found;
Eyes full of compassion,
Seeing every pain;
Knowing what you’re going through,
And feeling it the same.
Just like my father’s eyes,
My father’s eyes,
My father’s eyes,
Just like my father’s eyes.
My father’s eyes,
My father’s eyes,
Just like my father’s eyes.

The heavens declare the glory of God;

THE CELL PHONE vs. THE BIBLE

I just read this: if you want to see the original visit this site &;D:

http://www.christianster.com/ctan/html/showsharing.php?sid=44175&authid=75712&m=5&d=3&y=2007

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?

What if we gave it to our kids as a gift?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being “disconnected” because of an unpaid bill. Jesus already paid the bill in-full.

And just think–no dropped calls! God hears them all!
